What invisible grills actually are
Open View, Closed Risk.
An invisible grill is a set of high-tensile stainless steel cables run across an opening at a fixed spacing, held under tension by anchors fixed into the surrounding structure. There is no grille pattern and no frame across the middle of the opening, which is what separates it visually from a conventional MS grill. The safety comes from the cable spacing and the tension, not from bulk.
JS Invisible Grills fits invisible grills for balconies, windows and open sit-outs across Bangalore, where the whole point of the space is the view. Instead of a welded frame, the opening is spanned by stainless steel cables tensioned between anchor points in the parapet and the slab above — strong enough that a child cannot slip through or climb out, thin enough that from inside the room you mostly stop noticing they are there.

Invisible Grills That Protect Without Caging the Balcony
JS Invisible Grills installs invisible grills in Bangalore using 316-grade stainless steel cable tensioned at a 2-inch vertical/horizontal spacing across balcony and window openings. The cable is thin enough to disappear at normal viewing distance, so you get balcony fall protection without the boxed-in look of welded MS bars — the reason most Bangalore apartments now specify an invisible grill for the balcony over traditional grillwork.
Why the Cable Grade Decides How Long It Lasts
Corrosion is the single biggest reason a cheap grill fails early, and in Bangalore it is monsoon humidity and the wet-dry cycling of a west-facing balcony rather than sea air. 316-grade stainless is several steps above the 202 cable a low quote is usually hiding — 202 will bleed rust down a painted parapet inside two monsoons, which is a repainting job you did not budget for. Every invisible grill installation we do is measured on site, cut to your exact opening and tensioned by our own fitters, then re-checked before we call the job finished.
Why our invisible grills hold up
With invisible grills, the specification is easy to fake and hard to see. Cable grade, spacing and tension are what actually stop a fall, and all three are invisible in a photograph. We fit only 316 cable, hold the 2-inch spacing across the whole run, and name the grade in writing on your quote — so what you paid for is written down before anyone drills a hole.

Questions we get
Will the grill actually be invisible?
Not literally — up close you can see the cable. From a few feet back, and from outside the building, the opening reads as open. That is the whole reason people choose it over an MS grill.
Is 2-inch spacing safe for a small child?
Yes. Two inches is narrower than a toddler's head breadth, which is the standard the spacing is set against, and the cable is under tension so it does not spread apart under a push.
Does drilling damage the balcony?
Anchors go into the structural parapet edge and the slab soffit, not the tile face. The holes are sealed and touched up as part of the job.
How long does an invisible grill last in Bangalore?
316-grade stainless does not rust in this climate, and the cable is under tension rather than under load, so there is nothing that wears in normal use. The practical life is far longer than a painted MS grill in the same position.
What does an invisible grill cost in Bangalore?
It is quoted per square foot of opening, and the figure depends on the size and how the anchors have to be set rather than on your area of the city. The measurement is free, the price that comes out of it is fixed, and it does not change afterwards.
