What sports nets actually are
Built for Daily Impact.
A sports net installation is a netting enclosure — three-sided for a practice bay, fully enclosed including overhead for box cricket — carried on galvanised poles or fixed to existing structure. It is defined by two things: an impact-rated mesh that will not tear or stretch out of shape under repeated ball strike, and a frame with footings sized to hold that mesh taut for years.
JS Invisible Grills sets up sports nets across Bangalore for cricket practice bays, box turf venues, academies and terraces — anywhere a ball needs to stay inside a defined area. The netting is a heavier gauge than anything we use for safety or bird work, and the pole framing is sized to the span, because a practice net that sags or a pole that works loose stops being a net and becomes a hazard.

Sports Nets Specified for Impact, Not for Decoration
JS Invisible Grills builds sports nets in Bangalore for cricket practice bays, box turf enclosures and terrace play areas — heavy-gauge UV-treated HDPE on galvanised pole framing, sized to your span. A practice net takes a hard ball at pace hundreds of times a week, so it is specified against repeated impact rather than against a price point.
The Frame Fails Before the Net Does
On a box cricket or terrace enclosure the netting is rarely the weak point — the poles and their footings are. An overhead net section loads the frame in a way a three-sided practice bay never does, and on a Bangalore rooftop it is also a considerable sail area when the pre-monsoon squalls come through in April and May. We size pole diameter, spacing and footing to the actual span and the actual usage, whether that is a family terrace in Banashankari or a turf venue running twelve hours a day near Electronic City.
Why our sports nets hold up
We size the frame to how the space will actually be used, not to the drawing. A terrace bay a family uses at weekends and a turf venue running twelve hours a day need different pole spacing and different footings, and pretending otherwise is why cheaply framed enclosures start leaning inside a season.

Questions we get
Can a practice net go on a terrace, or does it need open ground?
A terrace works. We use base plates rather than excavated footings where the slab cannot be broken into, and we check the parapet and the slab edge before quoting.
What is the difference between a practice net and a box cricket setup?
A practice bay is open or three-sided. Box cricket is fully enclosed including overhead, which loads the frame far harder — so it is a heavier structure, not just more netting.
How is the mesh different from a safety net?
Much heavier gauge and a different weave. Safety netting is specified against a fall; sports netting is specified against a hard ball hitting the same panel thousands of times.
Will a rooftop net hold up in the pre-monsoon storms?
A properly framed one will — the poles are anchored into the slab rather than weighted, and the footings are sized to the exposure of the site. On a very exposed roof we will tell you at handover whether the net is one worth dropping ahead of a severe squall, and how to do it.
Often fitted together
Ask for both on the same visit and it is one measurement appointment, not two.
