What HSR Layout changes about the job

HSR houses commonly have several small openings rather than one large one: a front balcony per floor, a rear utility area, sometimes a stairwell void as well. Netting all of them on one visit is materially cheaper than doing them one at a time, because the setup and the access are the bulk of the cost on a small opening — worth measuring the whole house even if you only intend to net part of it now.
HSR is a BDA layout, so most of it is independent houses on 30x40 and 40x60 sites rather than towers — usually three or four floors with the top one let out and a terrace above that. Two jobs come out of that shape repeatedly: railing-height grills on the upper floors, where the original parapet was built to look right rather than to stop a child, and terrace netting on the roof. Agara Lake at the edge of the layout also means the pigeon pressure here is closer to a lake-side area than to the rest of south Bangalore.

Questions we get in HSR Layout
Can you net several floors of an HSR house in one visit?
Yes, and it is the sensible way to do it. On small openings most of the cost is access and setup rather than material, so four balconies measured and fitted together come to appreciably less than four separate jobs. We quote each opening separately so you can still choose which ones to go ahead with.
Which parts of HSR Layout do you cover?

Net or invisible grill — which should I pick for a balcony?
Both stop a fall. A grill keeps the view marginally clearer; a net covers the full height including the gap above a low parapet, and costs less on a large opening. We will tell you which suits your balcony when we measure.
Will the net sag after a while?
Some settling in the first weeks is normal and we re-tension it. Persistent sag means knotted net or bad anchoring — neither of which is how we fit it.
Can I still dry clothes on the balcony?
Yes. The mesh is open, so air and sun pass through as before.
Does it block the view?
You see through it, but a mesh is naturally more present than an invisible grill's cable. If the view is the priority, say so and we will quote the grill instead.
Which net colour do Bangalore apartment associations usually allow?
Transparent and black are the two that are accepted almost everywhere, because both keep the elevation uniform. There is no price difference between them, and we can give the committee a specification sheet and photographs if they want to see one before agreeing.
