Hebbal splits into two kinds of job. In the towers it is a podium or clubhouse amenity with a slab-loading question attached. On the older Sahakar Nagar and RT Nagar houses it is a private terrace with a low original parapet, and a low parapet under a sports net matters — the net has to start at deck level rather than above the wall, or a ball simply goes under it.

Questions we get in Hebbal
Our older Sahakar Nagar house has a low terrace wall. Can we still put a net up?
Yes, provided the net runs from the deck rather than from the top of the parapet. A net that starts above a low wall leaves a gap a ball will find immediately. It is a small detail that decides whether the installation works, and it is checked at the measurement.
Which parts of Hebbal do you cover?

Can a practice net go on a terrace, or does it need open ground?
A terrace works. We use base plates rather than excavated footings where the slab cannot be broken into, and we check the parapet and the slab edge before quoting.
What is the difference between a practice net and a box cricket setup?
A practice bay is open or three-sided. Box cricket is fully enclosed including overhead, which loads the frame far harder — so it is a heavier structure, not just more netting.
How is the mesh different from a safety net?
Much heavier gauge and a different weave. Safety netting is specified against a fall; sports netting is specified against a hard ball hitting the same panel thousands of times.
Will a rooftop net hold up in the pre-monsoon storms?
A properly framed one will — the poles are anchored into the slab rather than weighted, and the footings are sized to the exposure of the site. On a very exposed roof we will tell you at handover whether the net is one worth dropping ahead of a severe squall, and how to do it.
